As project owner, I helped deliver one of Germany’s biggest gaming festivals — DreamHack Leipzig 2017. The event combined esports, LAN culture, and an expo floor packed with brands, creators, and fans, turning Leipzig into Europe’s gaming capital for a long weekend. My role focused on ensuring the esports side ran seamlessly, while also coordinating with partners to align branding and fan experiences.
🎮 Welcomed over 25,000 attendees across three days, making it Germany’s standout gaming festival that year.
🖥️ Hosted hundreds of LAN setups and esports tournaments across multiple titles, from CS:GO to StarCraft II.
📺 Generated millions of livestream impressions, with international coverage highlighting Leipzig as a rising esports hub.
🤝 Coordinated with key sponsors and exhibitors, ensuring activations felt authentic to the community.
⚡ Fun fact: German precision is real — the LAN setup had fewer delays than most airports.
